Have you ever wondered how in the heck you drink tea without that little bag that it comes in? I hear the question often, so I figured it’s high time I let you all know some of the best ways to drink loose leaf tea. Loose leaf teas whether herbal like ours, or not, are superior in comparison to those tiny little wasteful bags.  The plant matter is fresher, the flavor is greater, the beauty is astounding, you can see what your drinking into your body, and it’s even kinder to our planet! Read on to learn the bestways I like to take in my favorite loose leaf herbal teas.

Loose LEaf Tea Mug INfuserMug Infuser: This is a simple way to drink your teas.  All you have to do is have hot water, the mug, some tea, and the desire to sip something delicious.  Just place your blend inside the in. Loose Leaf Tea Celestial StrainerThe Tea Strainer: These little guys are quite versatile.  All you have to do is find a mug to pair it with.  Just put the strainer inside your mug of choice, and pour hot water over it. When you think the steeping is done, just take the strainer out.  I’m to the moon with this cute little Celestial Tea Strainer!

Loose LEaf Tea BallThe Tea Ball: These are popular among people new to the loose leaf tea world.  Honestly, they’re not my favorite, because they have a tendency to let the leaves leak out. I have no problem drinking little bits of plant matter, but most people on a mission to learn how to drink loose leaf teas don’t want to sip the leaves too. Muslin Tea Bags ReusableThe Muslin Tea Bag:  These are a great reusable option for those on a tight budget and just curious about drinking loose leaf teas.  It’s a little muslin bag, be sure you get an unbleached one, and you just fill it with your tea blend, and steep it like a regular old tea bag.  When you’re done with it, empty the tea, compost it, rinse out the bag, and let it dry for the next use.  Easy peasy!

When the time is up, press that french thing, and pour your cuppa!

Loose LEaf Tea BombillaThe Bombilla:  This is my absolute favorite way to drink our loose leaf herbal teas! If you’ve ever drunk mate, you know what this little guy does. It’s like a straw, but for your tea. It’s closed off at the bottom of the straw, and there are tiny holes that filter the plant matter out.  So you can sit with your mug full of gorgeous plants, sip through a straw, and admire the immense beauty a cup of plants can bring to your day and life.
